Emirates ID Tracking – Easily Track Your Emirates: Keeping track of your Emirates ID application is essential for every UAE resident or citizen. In this guide, we’ll walk you through how to check your Emirates ID status, track delivery, and stay updated with your ID progress all without confusion.

Emirates ID tracking is a free online service provided by the Federal Authority for Identity, Citizenship, Customs & Port Security (ICP). It allows you to monitor the progress of your Emirates ID whether it’s a new application, a renewal, or a replacement request.

Through this service, you can track where your ID is in the system application, processing, printing, dispatch, or delivery. You can even find out if it’s ready for pickup or has been delivered.

You can use the Emirates ID tracking service if you have:

  1. Applied for a new Emirates ID: First-time applicants checking the status of their new card.
  2. Requested an Emirates ID renewal: Individuals renewing their expired or soon-to-expire ID.
  3. Filed for a replacement Emirates ID: Those who reported their card as lost, stolen, or damaged and applied for a replacement.

Follow these Steps:

Step 1: Visit the Official Website

Step 2: Navigate to the Status Check Page

  • Click on “Check Application Status” or go directly to this link.

Step 3: Enter Your Details

Step 4: View Your Status

You’ll see the current stage of your ID process, such as:

If your Emirates ID has not arrived after 10–12 working days, here’s what you can do:

Step 1: Recheck Your Status

  • Use the ICP tracking portal to confirm if it’s printed or still under process.

Step 2: Contact ICP Support

  • Call 6005 30003 or use the live chat feature on the ICP website.

Step 3: Check with Emirates Post

  • If it says “Dispatched”, visit the nearest Emirates Post office with your tracking number or Emirates ID number.

  • Did you know you can access a digital version of your Emirates ID even before receiving the physical card?

How to Get Your Digital Emirates ID

  1. Download the UAE ICP Smart App from Google Play or Apple App Store.
  2. Log in using your UAE Pass account.
  3. Access your digital Emirates ID inside the app.

This digital copy is fully valid for most government and private services (including airports, banks, and health care providers).

  • Enable notifications on the ICP app
  • Save your application/PRAN number somewhere safe
  • Check your SMS inbox regularly for updates
  • Use the same registered phone number used during application

Sometimes you need to change your address, phone number, or profession on your Emirates ID. This can be done through the ICP website or app. Once updated, you can track the progress of these changes using the same Emirates ID tracking method.

Important: Changes may take several days and you might need to reprint your ID card.

You can choose delivery to:

  • Home Address (for a small fee)
  • Nearest Emirates Post Office (default method)

Once the card is ready, Emirates Post will notify you via SMS. You’ll then have 90 days to collect it before it’s returned to ICP.
